Jacob Moore, Director

Jacob Moore, Director

Jacob has a deep love for Cameroon's many cultures and peoples. After completing his first two years of Peace Corps service, Jacob continued working as an Agribusiness consultant in Cameroon. He helps rural farmers boost their income by adding value to crops, most recently through the transformation of locally harvested soybeans into tofu. He is also the founder of a sustainable community garden that helps feed five villages in Cameroon, in addition to teaching modern agricultural techniques to local farmers. The garden was a featured article on Feed the Future's newsletter under the new West African Food Security Partnership. He has a degree from Wabash College.

Buba Sulle Dicko, Programs Officer

Buba Sulle Dicko, Programs Officer

Buba is the founder and president of ACUDA, an organization dedicated to the advancement of marginalized ethnic Akus in Cameroon. He also teaches at a local secondary school, and serves as the divisional president of the Cameroon National Youth Council. He was recently selected to participate in the prestigious International Volunteer Leadership Program, an American development conference hosted by the US State Dept. He holds a degree from the University of Yaounde in Cameroon.

Mbili Lovette, Programs Officer

Lovette is a uniquely talented leader and motivational speaker. His rare ability to engage and inspire youth has been the driving force behind numerous successful development projects. He is a tireless advocate for social justice and gender equality in the community. Lovette currently serves as a Delegate of Physical Education in NW Cameroon.

Lauren Bernstein, Consultant

Lauren Bernstein, Consultant

Lauren Bernstein is committed to equality and social justice. She is currently working as a Program Assistant at the NYU Leadership Initiative while pursing an MPA at NYU's Wagner School of Public Service. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, Lauren taught youth entrepreneurship, consulted for a microfinance organization and small businesses, as well as implemented HIV/AIDS prevention and malaria prevention initiatives. Before that, she worked in development at several Los Angeles non-profits. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and Cinematic Arts.

Andrew Bloch, Consultant

Andrew Bloch, Consultant

Andrew brings programs experience to the ScholarShop team. As a Peace Corps volunteer, Andrew engaged local stakeholders to implement large-scale programs for HIV prevention and gender equality. These programs continue to benefit students in Cameroon after his departure. He currently works in business development for one of NYC’s most innovative nonprofits.

Sean Gray, Founder / Consultant

Sean Gray, Founder / Consultant

Sean is the Founder of ScholarShop Africa. A graduate of Georgetown University and former small business owner, Sean served as an Economic Development volunteer in Peace Corps Cameroon from 2013 through 2015. His work focuses on the economic empowerment of vulnerable and underserved populations. In his free time, Sean enjoys bike touring, mountain climbing, and geocaching.
